The producer and/or holder of the waste and the company that transports, are jointly responsible, therefore it is highly recommended to choose a licensed operator.

The transport of hazardous waste by road is a process that involves the movement of noxious substances on public roads. It must be done using safe vehicles, trained professionals and respecting environmental standards.

2

4

Are there any advantages to hiring an operator for the total and integrated management of my waste?

Choosing a single operator simplifies the process, can be more affordable, and minimize the risk of accidents because only one entity is involved in the entire process.

The law is clear when identifying the producer and/or holder of dangerous products as responsible for the final destination of potentially harmful materials. Keep in mind that the collection, as well as the transfer of hazardous waste are steps in a long process that ends in the treatment, valorization, or disposal of your company's waste.
