Ecodeal attended the Green Business Week held on 1-3 March at the Exhibition and Congress Centre of Lisbon, in Junqueira, Belém. The company was present with a stand and distributed promotional and informational material on their waste treatment activity.

However, the Integrated Centre for the Recovery and Disposal of Waste remains available to actively promote its services through geral@ecodeal.pt and/or comercial@ecodeal.pt.

Green Business Week debated sustainability and smart cities

Organised by the AIP Foundation and the Lisbon International Fair (FIL), the Green Business Week was supported - and visited by - the Ministry of the Environment and Economy. Throughout this “National Week for Green Growth” important issues regarding water, waste treatment, energy, smart cities and sustainability were discussed.

One of the key points of this fair were the four conferences that were held under the slogan “Transfer of Knowledge and Societal Challenges”. The first, entitled “Internet of Things”, addressed Lisbon as an “intelligent and resilient city”, besides discussing smart and sustainable urban regeneration.

The pros and cons of the re-use of treated wastewater were one of the highlights of the conference “Societal Challenges of Water in Portugal and in the World”. In addition to the debate “Facing the Innovation Challenge”, the conference “Energy and Societal Challenges” was held, which included discussion panels, such as sustainable construction (energy balance of buildings almost zero) and innovation in renewable energy.
